White Scar Cave is a show cave in Ingleton, North Yorkshire. It's Britain's longest show cave but there's much more to see past where the public bits end. There's a section of canal which needs to be passed. As is now tradition for Morley Pothole Club, we take inflatables to aid our passage along the canal - the sillier the better

We'd only partially inflated our flotation devices to make the walk in a little easier. Once we'd passed the public walkways we re-grouped, topped up air, and went on in to the water

Once at the end of the canal we had no need for our inflatable friends so they guarded the passage to prevent any members of the public from following us

We had to find our way through a small boulder choke, which wasn't too bad
